What does the South Milwaukee Youth Sports Leagues have to offer?
FUN. We want our participants to enjoy their sports experience.
PARTICIPATION. We have specific rules in place to ensure every participant gets equitable playing time.
LEARN THE GAMES. The emphasis is on skill development for the sport you are registering for.
Most importantly, we want to offer a low-demand schedule with less time commitments that allows you and your family the opportunity to spend time together.

Swim Lessons, Aquatice Club, Ski & Snowboarding, and Young Rembrandt's have their own registration site.
What are the Objective of the South Milwaukee Recreation Department Youth Sports Program?
- To offer sports programs to fulfill the recreation needs as a service to the community
- To provide equal opportunity for all youth regardless of race, creed, sex, economic status or ability
- To enable our volunteer coaches to help our participants improve their skill level
- To expect good sportsmanship and fair play as standard behavior
- To provide each child with participation that is a worthwhile and a positive life experience that is FUN.
Parent Coaches Needed

If you decide to be a volunteer coach you will recieve a coaches T-Shirt and a full year free membership to the South Milwaukee Fitness Center.
Don't Forget, Basketball Player Assessments - New date & times!
Player Assessments (New Date Saturday, Nov 23)
Each student registered should attend the player assessment. The reason for this player assessment is to give coaches the information necessary to evaluate players so teams can be composed fair, balanced, and competitive.
All players will be assigned to a team by the rec dept. and assigned coaches. Everyone plays!. The head coach and (1) assistant coach may have their child on their team. Siblings will also be placed on the same team.
