About our Fitness Center

 

We take pride in what we have to offer here at the South Milwaukee Fitness Center and Indoor Track. From our friendly staff, clean facilities, and variety of equipment, we guarantee you will feel the same. We are located inside the High School on the East side of the building across from the Football stadium. Our parking lot is accessible off of the Oak Creek Parkway. Enter the building through Door #24 labeled 'Community Recreation & Fitness Center'. For your first visit, please bring a photo I.D., which will be presented to the staff upon entry. Inside Door #24 is an interior set of double doors. There will be a white buzzer on the wall to the right of these doors. Press the white button and someone will let you in. Proceed down the hallway to our safety desk where you will present your I.D. before entry into the Fitness Center. Once you become a member, you will have a membership card that you will scan for entry each time.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • All Memberships must be completed in person at our Fitness Center where we have forms available.

  • Forms can also be printed out ahead of time by clicking the appropriate link below.

  • Please don't forget to read and sign off on the Fitness Center/Track Rules and Regulations on the backside!

  • We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.

  • Once you become a member, you will be presented with a membership card that gets scanned upon entry for every visit. You must have your card with you to enter. Every member gets one free pass if they forget their card. From then on, if you do not have your card, you will have to purchase a new membership card for $5 (cash only), or you will not be allowed into the building.

  • We have Men's and Women's locker rooms with several lockers in each and one shower stall in each. We also have additional lockers outside of the Fitness Center. We encourage you to bring your own lock as the lockers are not equipped with them. Use at your discretion as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
